Jan, The recent New York quake occurred in the northernmost part of the state. It was felt all over the state, except by me, who slept through it. Just across town from my house, a friend was jolted awake with the house shaking and rattling for 20 seconds. If I noticed anything, I probably thought it was a cat jumping on the bed.
