Maybe it was just my family, but my husband's grandmother was German and she was very superstitious. My mom's German side was superstitious too, throwing salat over their shoulders, etc. Terri

>You can easily spot the fakes. A true physchic will not charge you for a reading, most will ask for a donation, some will just trust you to leave one..< I have had 2 different people do readings for me, the first one did make a charge, to cover expenses of travelling to my home and supplying a cassette recording of our "session". She was incredibly on the button, and I had had her tel no from someone else, had spoken only once on the telephone to make the booking, I was very impresssed actually, although there was some stuff that made no sense at all and still does not. The 2nd, has become a friend, and I have attended several homes where she is "reading" the first time she read for me, she was so accurate, and I have seen this in other readings that she has done for others, she is pretty amazing but after that she is not at all reliable. the first one used a crystal ball believe it or not, and the second uses Tarot cards, I have a set of my own too, fascinating stuff! Well, right now, she's refusing surgery. Next stop is the "other" hospital, whether she has the surgery or not. They're giving her some anti-depressant and waiting, hoping, that she'll be in better spirits when the doctors decide it's time to discuss her treatment options. Daughter just called and says that the bullet is lodged in her abdomen at the Y of the arteries going to her legs, 1/8" from one of them. Incredible! Daughter sounded exhausted, spent all day with her husband at the hospital, trying to understand, as was he. Not sure of exactly what he meant, but I can tell you that the reason you hear both Holy Ghost & Holy Spirit in English is that the original translation of the Bible from Latin was into German, and the word "spirit" doesn't exist...however "ghost" does, so that the Holy Spirit (Espirito Sancto) in Latin had to become "die Heilege Geist" the Holy Ghost in German. How's she spooky? Oh, just the way she wants to know all the details of everyone's life. All the time. Seems to be her hobby, living vicariously from the safety of her home. I feel like I'm being stalked sometimes. My son in law's mom is worse, though. She's been a difficult woman and has displayed some obvious mental problems since we met her. Not sure what the label would be. Heard today that she tried to kill herself last Saturday, by OD'ing on aspirin as well as shooting herself in the chest with a 9 mm. Should have killed her. Instead she walked around for three days without telling either of two sons that stopped by over the weekend what she had done. Today, my son-in-law stopped by to see her and she said, "oh, by the way, I tried to kill myself. Shot myself in the chest." He was baffled, didn't believe her, there she stood looking like always. She showed him the wound on her sternum, said it only hurts when she bends over. He was understandably upset, she didn't want to go to the hospital, finally he got her to go, after an hour of arguing, and all the time she's telling him that she'll hate him til she dies for making her go to the hospital. Poor son, he's a good guy, just trying to do the right thing, and dealing with the shock of it all. I haven't heard any more, but I guess at the least she'll be staying overnight, since it was a self-inflicted wound. I'm so glad she told him what she'd done. What if she'd been found dead in a couple more days, with an old wound in her chest? All three sons had been there at one time or another. Sheepers, I have been getting that Klez virus coming through every day, and today about six times so far. Norton deals with it, but for the next ???? period of time, I am not going to post notes.
