    3. Also try bio-feedback, and do not use iodized salt. Use sea salt or Kosher salt. There are studies that show raw celery (4 ribs in the daily diet), help to control high BP. ----- Original Message ----- From: HBalc27124@aol.com To: BLACKSHEEP-CHAT-L@rootsweb.com Sent: Wednesday, May 08, 2002 8:45 AM Subject: Re: [BSChat] Re: Meds My husband is on Paxil and 2 different kinds of BP medicine. 2. Jack don't back down regardless what anyone says, listen to your gut instinct. That mother and her daughter are TROUBLE. Just the fact that she drove off and left those 2 girls at the park like she did proves that. Why didn't she tell Kade that you had called and was concerned about her, even if Kade didn't want to come home that would have been enough to motivate her homeward. Also why didn't she tell Kade that I can't make you leave, but when I get home I will call your father and tell him you wouldn't ride home with me, that would be enough to move most kids. That woman just didn't want to want to bother with anyone else's kids, she sounds to me like she doesn't want to bother with her own. I would definitely make these two persona non grata, but don't trust mother or daughter as you don't know what they will say or do. It sounds like the nasty mouth girl is trying to make everyone else look bad so she can look good and get more attention from her mother. Believe me no matter how hard you try some people you can't be good to as it will boomerang on you. And isn't it a big coincidence that the nasty girl knew enough to tell the principal to check Kade's back pack. If Kade was going to try smoking she sure would not take 3 packs of cigarettes at one time, that is a sure way to get caught. Maybe 2 or 3 ciggy's but 3 packs no way. I don't have much in the way of education but I am 68 years old and I have raised 5 kids, have 18 grandkids, and 9 great grandkids and I have been thru a lot with most of them and trust me on this I know what I am talking about. A lot of parents should be more protective about their children. Don't apologize for using your common sense. Gail in La.

Second thing this other child is obviously just as disturbed, and "not knowing" them is a good decision. Thirdly I hope you explained that animosity exists between the kids to the school, and that there is a very likely "set-up". I also hope you addressed the "false story" being spread about Kade. Last and hopefully the end of it, is the need to segregate Kade from the bad influences, and your need to assure that your "area" is not invaded by these "problems" down the street. Jeffery G. 3. > My husband is on Paxil and 2 different kinds of BP medicine. I don't agree with it, I think that is definitely overmedicating. How can you wean someone off it?< First thing, either have a good, solid talk with the Dr. about the subject. Blood pressure meds are something that should never be eliminated via the 'cold turkey' route. That way could have very negative implications. Best, SueB
