    3. The longer it's in the water the softer it's going to get till it turns to mush. I'd send it through the spin cycle to get the water off of it and then pull all the clothes out and search out all the macaroni. I bet Kade will help. <g> It's sort of a where's Waldo game, eh? Kade had started some wash, was running the water in the machine. Door of food cupboard came open, cat jumped up there, spilled a bag of macaroni, which spilled into the washing machine water. So now I have a washing machine full of slimy mararoni. I scooped most of it out, but some of those slimy little buggers just keep escaping me. You think if I send it through a spin cycle that it will leave the macaroni and let me pick it out ? 3. That sounds to me like another example of a child being too young, in some way, to comprehend the danger or even the meaning of the words. "Stranger" doesn't mean much to a lot of kids, especially those who have been treated well all their lives and just figured everyone was good, like mom and dad and grandparents. What they see around them is, to them, what the whole world of people is like. And then, as they get older and mature emotionally and mentally, they recognize the difference. My step-daughter would have had a problem with that class and the word 'stranger' at the age of seven. These are also the same kids that use the word "friend" very loosely. If they play with another child for 5 minutes, they're "friends". No concept of the real meaning. 1. [BSChat] HE WAS SO THANKFUL
    2. JACK CHILDERS
    3. Yesterday while at the grocery store I found a set of car keys in, of all places, the tomato bin. The key ring had one of those Lock and Unlock gizmos on it, was a Toyota car, real nice car with leather seats, etc. So I took the key chain out to the parking lot and tested every Toyota car until I found the one the keys belonged to. Then I copied down the tag number and had the store page the owner of the car. He was an Oriental young man who burst into tears when I handed him the key ring. He didn't even know yet that he had lost them. I gave him a good sermon about being careful with the keys to such a valuable investment, about how someone honest had found the keys when someone dishonest could just as well have found them, then I told him I was an ex-convict and he should learn from this incident that just because a person is an ex-convict doesn't mean they are currently dishonest. I had a great deal of difficulty in getting away from him. He was so thankful someone had returned his keys instead of stealing the car. He cried, hugged me, shook my hand a dozen times, clung to my arm asking if there was anything he could do for me in appreciation, offered to mow my lawn, give me a reward, have his wife clean my house, WOW !!! I finally managed to drive out of the parking lot with him walking along the side of my car all the way expressing his thankfulness. I myself would have been devastated if I had of lost a car of that quality. It was really a nice car. Wasn't a limo, but it was sure a nice car. 3. Gloria, please don't be too hasty in your disappointment and shame! I've been divorced for only a couple of years now, altho separated for a dozen years. When divorce time finally rolled around (didn't happen sooner due to religious reasons), I discovered by talking with the children (who, by then were in their 30's) that my now ex-wife had been spreading the same sort of rumors about me during our 20 year marriage. If I had truly been a wife-beater & child molester for those 20 years that we were together, one would expect to find documentation of the facts. There is none...IT DIDN'T HAPPEN! Yet, due to her malicious mouth, I no longer have contact with any of the "common friends" we had while we were together. They were all too quick to believe the worst of me, because I "left a wife of 20 years with no way to support herself". They were all completely unaware that I left her the house, all the gold, silver & crystal, taking only my clothes & car. If you have documentation to substantiate the allegations against him, that's different...maybe...I've known of allegations having been levied by the supposed molested which were, in actuality gross exaggerations of facts (the "inappropriate touching" turned out to have been a pat on the rump in play). If you have the documentation, then I must excuse myself for writing this, and to offer you my most profound sympathy for having found out after the love you gave the man over the years. BEST WISHES! 3. I never saw a large black Beetle, 2" long, except in Arizona during the rainy season...drove over a million of them. I didn't see one in Thailand. We had Cobra snakes, Pit Vipers, a jillion mesquitos, rats, guekos, huge ants, termites, and fish that walked on the front lawn... BUT, I never saw a large black beetle. You must have been up-country somewhere, like in Korat or Nakam Phenom? (sp?) I know, "Nit Noy" means a "little bit." We lived in Bangkok from 1967-1970...with a yearly R&R to the States. I raised my (3) kids in Guam & Thailand...when they were little. Son Kyle was born on Guam at the Naval Hospital. Don't know about you, but I loved Thailand..
