The problem with these things is that they jam up the servers, archives, and a lot of times we get MULTIPLE copies ( 7 of this last one). It is 12:26 at night and I'm still up. I have been filing charges on my local neighborhood pervert. He pulled his clothes off in front of about 8-9 kids tonight, including Kade. We just got done with it all. The police said they couldn't arrest him tonight because there were some conflicting stories from the kids and would have to file a report and let the district attorney decide what to do. Michael N(icholas) Shuler b 9 Mar 1759, Philadelphia Co, PA d 23 Feb 1862, Elk Creek, Grayson Co, VA m 1) Dortha (?) abt 1782, PA m 2) Charity "Anna" Myers, b abt 1769 either Rowan Co, NC, or Grayson Co, VA d 17 Dec 1856, Comer's Rock, Grayson Co, VA fathered 3 children by Dortha, Sophia, b abt 1783, Rowan Co, NC, d abt Jun 1875, m John Delp, b 1780 Bucks Co, PA,d 1855 Rhoda, b aft 1791, Rowan Co, NC, m Phillip Epilee, 17 Jun 1827, Grayson Co, VA Anna Maria, b 1794, Rowan Co, NC fathered 12 children by Charity btwn 1796 & 1822, names available on request. Michael stated prior to his death that he was named for his father, who was born in Philadelphia Co, PA, 1742, and moved to NC. Obviously, his father couldn't have been 11 years old when he was born, but this is the only Michael Shuler b PA m Sophia Hittel that I've been able to locate who subsequently moved to NC. Michael died in VA 1862 after falling off the front porch (a distance of 2 feet), so his memory was probably the primary fault. I've always considered that his birth date (no documentation found) was probably 1769. What has become of the word respect? Is there none left today? Is there nothing you would honor? If we were digging up your cemetary, What would you say? These bones of old may mean nothing to you. But herein resides our ancestors. Resting in these most sacred sites. We are here as their protectors. You say these roads and stores are progress. But it is not thru your cemetary you cross.
