    3. Hi Bettye & List, We lived in Arkansas before I was born - Mom was bitten by a Copperhead and spent three months in bed, I was delivered by my Grandma and the Hired Girl. My Cousin who is a nurse says I must have some great antibody's in my blood - also had one of those caul things over my face. Now all of you know why I'm a bit weird!!!! Have a good evening all and Take Care. 3. Hey, Whitewolf & all! Many of our indigenous ancestors learned & practiced herbal medicine. The Maya people still do so...had the honoured experience of first hand use & observation about a year ago in Belize. They can cure almost anything by the use of growing things in their tropical rain forest. Mike, IBSSG ----- Original Message ----- From: "A. L. 2. Me too, I killed a small snake for the first time about 6 yrs ago, as he was getting into my Koi pool or pond. It scared me to death, but I killed him with a shovel. My poo rKoi are alive and well today, and when I moved to my new home here about 5 yrs ago, I brought all of them with me, today they are in my lake outside my back door. They were my babies, in my sales contract on my home, I made mention that my Koi did not stay only the goldfish. All the people here get to enjoy them now, and they are huge and beautiful. I have to go all the way across town to find a Farm Feed store to purchase floating catfish pellets to feed them,, as I spoiled them and some will almost eat out of your hand. I did have a Farm supply Store close by and it closed forsome reason. The colors are remarkable on the Koi, and they are all so beautiful. In Japan the Koi are handed down to grandchildren, etc and they have an extremely long life. Bettye

    3. Did someone mention a Blonde Moment???........ One day a blonde decided to commit suicide. So she went into a park and hung herself. A couple minutes later a man walking his dog walked by and saw the blonde hanging from the tree. He asked nicely "What are you doing hanging from that tree with a rope around your waist?" The blonde answered and said "I'm hanging myself." The man told her that the loop of the rope should be around her neck not her waist. The blonde said, "Well I tried that, but I couldn't breathe!" 3. In one of the Iowa censuses, Someone was enumerated, including their menial labor job and then off in the margin it said 'idiot'. Another one it was in the comment section. The census takers were supposed to note anyone with a disability because they were looking to understand how many were most likely going to need gov. assistance. I've also seen 'blind', 'deaf', and 'dumb'; as well as 'crippled', 'halt' and 'bent'. When I worked on the 2000 census there were ethnic groups who did not want gov. interferance or help and didn't want to be perceived as needy so they didn't want co-operate. We learned to find the 'head' man or woman and explain how they were hurting themselves. If we got through to them, all of a sudden everyone was home and everyone answered the questions. Then there were the red-blooded Americans who don't think anyone should get assistance so they didn't want to be counted because that was co-operating with giving assistance. Unfortunately what that did is make the percentage of people needing assistance higher, not lower which would enable or qualify a district for more of certain types of assistance. I was a supervisor so I say a lot more of the anomalies than an individual enumerator whould have seen.
