I would like information on Moses Francis Blackshear. In particular whether he had slaves in Washington and/or Jefferson counties. I am researching African American Blackshears in this area. I'm hoping you know whether or not there are family papers which exist that might reflect the answer and if so whether and where I might be able to review them.
