And He was a senater in Alabama. In the 1830's He served three concecitive terms in office and is sreeming for continued research mainly in the family, and the work fields. He was born in Sept,22,1799 chester Field dist,SC. and in 1810 moved to Union co,SC. And James, And mother Both state in SC census records Mr,Murphy was all ready dead, Cause unknown. And in 1815, Moved to Wilkinson co,GA, Where in 1818 James,J,Murphy was Drafted in to armed forces of GA. Volunteers. And James,J,Murphy Settled in Laurens Co,GA. Where he married the Grandaughter of Elisha,Stout,Blackshear in which had a son Alexander, Blackshear, Who married Ann,Allison.
