I have a picture that was sent to my Mom "Neva "Wallis" Miller, got from Du Wayne, who got it from Royce, who got it from Jack Benham. It is a picture of my Great Granddad George L. Blackshear, bringing in the first bale of cotton , Oct 1, 1924, Bailey Boro. Ginned by R. L. Brown, Muleshoe Texas. He looks like a apache Indian, sitting on top of a old model-T side board truck. The letter says that Jack had stopped to look at Royce's great Grandfathers headstone. In relating his small world story to the guys at the gin Peanut Hawkins got up, went into the back room and came back with the photograph. Mom also sent me a picture of Mama Brannen (Blackshear) (my Grandma Opal "Blackshear" Wallis and my Aunt Reta "Wallis" Dees look like her. If any one has any pictures from my line, would really like to E-Mail exchange photo's with you, to add to both our family albums. My parents are Kenneth Eli Miller & Neva Joy Wallis Miller, who will be married 50 years come this Nov. Sandy Scofield skscofield@sbcglobal.net
