    3. Norma Davis West Milton, Ohio Jan 15, 1936 – May 30, 2018 (Age 82) SIDNEY — Norma K. Davis, 82, of Sidney, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2018, at 10:38 a.m., at her daughter's residence. She was born on Jan. 15, 1936, in Monticello, Illinois, the daughter of the late Clarence and Beulah (Webb) Blacker. On Feb. 14, 1953, Norma married Richard Davis, who preceded her in death March 24, 2017. She is survived by two daughters, Kathy Adams, of West Milton, and Debra Richmond, of Daytona Beach, Florida; three grandchildren, Tony (Anita) Crisp, of Middleburg, Florida, Amber (Brian) Mangas, of Leipsic, and Patrick (Danielle) Kirkland, of Tampa, Florida; six great-grandchildren, Bryce and Hailey Crisp, Jaxon and Presli Mangas, and Carmela and Claire Kirkland; one brother, Jerry Blacker; and three sisters, Marilyn Morrow, Carol Kirwan, and Connie Weber. Norma was preceded in death by one daughter, Rebecca Elaine, and son-in-law, Robert Adams. Norma retired in 1993 from Baumfolder Corporation where she served as an assembler for 10 years. In her spare time, she would volunteer at FISH, in Sidney. Norma was a lifelong member of Holy Angels Catholic Church. Funeral Services will be held Monday, June 4, 2018, at 12 p.m., at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave., Sidney, with Rev. Frank Amberger officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Point Cemetery, in Pasco. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.

Mary was born 1857/8 in Ontario as the daughter of John Harper (1830/1-1891) and Ellen HARRISON Harper (1828/31-1888). Both of Mary’s parents were born in Ireland . If anyone can provide additional data on James Blacker, his wife Mary (Harper) Blacker, or any of their ancestors or descendants, I would be very grateful. Ed Harrison

Also check out the 1930 census. Another area to check is manifest of ships which would give info on Samuel coming into America. That way, you might be able to get an idea of where they came from to continue your quest. Also naturalization records will give you info from where they left Russia and possibly where born. OH where they were m. in 1822. They had 16 children, then Lewis had another 8. My lineage is through their son, Marion (my grandfather b.1840) and Marion's son, John William "Jack/JW" born 1863 in Montgomery Co., IN. John William pioneered the automobile there in Colfax. His first wife was Ida Blacker, I believe her to be the dtr of George & Della Coyner Blacker. I have a picture of her. If you are related to this family, we are cousins.
