BLACKBURN, 63, died at 1:15 o'clock Wednesday morning at the home of his niece, Mrs. Samuel Rosenthal of 1509 East Wayne Street following a stroke of apoplexy Monday. He resided in New Haven, but had come to Fort Wayne Monday to visit Mrs. Rosenthal when he was stricken. He was employed at the National Handle Company and was a member of New Haven M.E. Church. Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Clara Rice of Norfolk, O, and Mrs. Phoebe Bruoit and Mrs. Anna Pocock of this city and the niece at whose home he died. The body was removed to Carl Hauck's funeral home.
