This is a long shot. I have a William Blackburn from Sampson County, N.C. He married into the Sutton family. Camillia Sutton, her name is listed several diffrent ways on the census. What is odd about this William Blackburn is that he sort drops out of findings during the civil war. (he could have passed away) because Camillia and family are living with her family then and William can not be found. Pam
