    1. Re: [BLKBURN] William Blackburn 1814-1888 TN IN NE MO
    2. This is my husbands family. I do have a family history book on them his cousin did. It says, James and Joan (Price), 1692 emigrated to Pennsylvania from wales. They came to Randolph County, N.C. abt. 1750 and settled in the Sandy Creek area (which the Pugh's still live on). James & Joan had Thomas Pugh (1701-1794)-Enoch Pugh (abt.1735)m Pethia Diviney-Jesse Pugh (abt.1817-1907)m Kiziah Lineberry-Samuel Franklin Pugh (1843-1925) m Martha Elizabeth Smith. I'm not sure this helps any. The funny thing about your question is that my husband's grandmother is 91 years old and her maiden name is smith. The smith's and Pugh's were neighbors. The family still owns all their land from when they first came to N.C. on both sides. If you find a connection with this, I will put you in touch with my husbands cousin that is working on this line. Pam
