Well, I wasnt sure if the info. I had was correct or not, that was my reason for asking. I have also seen that Samuel had noe children and that is what made me start wondering about the conflicitng data about James's father. But if his father is still unknown as of yet then I will desregard any thing else I see, unless they have proof. James B. Blackburn was my 6th great grandfather.
