    3. Dear Xbelfast, Yes, I see that Sarah is missing from the Brinton book, but she is mentioned in Westmoreland histories, as is her marriage to William Blackburn. My cousin joined the DAR based on the Sarah Matlack Brinton ancestry. I believe Matlack is also an old Quaker name, so I wonder if additional confirmation could be available through Matlack researchers/ I am copying the lists on this for input by other researchers on the omission of Sarah Matlack Brinton from the Brinton book.
