    3. Susan: I've got a Lambert/Lambeth Blackburn in the family tree, but he was born in 1804 and presumably in North Carolina. He's my great-great-great grandfather. His father, one of many William Blackburns, was born about 1764 in Virginia. Given that men frequently named sons after brothers and uncles, and Lambert is such an unusual name, I bet there's a connection.
