One thing that I found to be common was the use of the name Rankin. My gg/grandfather was Samuel Rankin Blackburn born 1878, I believe in Bourbon Co. Ky. His mother was Rebecca Blackburn born in 1861, however I do not know who Rebecca was married to. Jamie
