Not sure if he was from Ireland or not. Remember my grandma telling me something about Irish. (I was about 4 yrs. old). George (I think) was born in Va. Saw his grave the other day. Says 1824-1890. I'm still receiving, slowly, info from new found cousins. The puzzle is trying to figure out who Christopher's parents were, and where he's from. I'll keep it in mind though, you never know! They had a son named George, born around 1841 in Nova Scotia but I do not know where he went or died. He was supposed to be an artist married to Catherine Ackles. Could this be your needle in the haystack?

Check these websites if you are looking for graves of Blackburns in Cecil County, MD: www.idreamof.com/cemetery/md/cecil/hopewell there were about 16 Blackburns there dating from 1843-2000 www.idreamof.com/cemetery/md/cecil/nottingham.html About 10 Blackburns there dating 1881-1993 By Blackburn direct lines did not go to MD, but maybe yours did.     2. Looking for information on any Blackburns who lived in Niagara Falls. Learned one of the Niagara Falls Blackburns, orginally from England, may have moved to Florida. His name was Thomas Amos Blackburn. Also learned two of my Blackburn cousins were born in Minnesota and Canada, to English born parents. Their names were Louise and Marjorie Blackburn.
