    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/SNE.2ACIB/1181.1 Message Board Post: Was your Henry Alva Blackburn born 13 June 1918 in Pennsylvania? Was his father named Alva, and the grandfather named Jeremiah? If this is the person you seek, may I offer a suggestion? Looking at the SSDI, I see that NO location for his last residence is posted. The (VA) you see in that column is a Social Security internal code and does not mean Virginia or Veteran's Administration. PLEASE forgive me if I have told you something you already know. If you do not know where Henry A. Blackburn died, have you or your cousin ordered his Social Security application? If not, you might be surprised by when Henry actually applied for it. I could not locate my grandfather's place of death. I got his Social Security application, and he applied ONE month before he died in 1971! That gave me a state to look in. I hope you find Henry's resting place.

    3. Hi Blackburn Researchers, Just a note to let you know what has been happening in my world. I don't know how many know but, on 4 May a tornado came through out little town and all but removed it from the face of the earth. That may be a little dramatic but the way I feel. The entire down town area is gone, the park is gone, I could go on all day, my house sustained a lot of damage, so for awhile I am homeless. There are no rentals, I've been lucky in that I have been in a motel for a couple of weeks but its tourist season and they have reservations. I will be here tomorrow, then I don't know where I will be. But I wanted you all to know that I may or may not have access to the Internet. I will be back as soon as possible, depending on what and where I find to live. I know this list will be ok, you all do a great job of governing yourselves and I really appreciate each one of you. So until I get settled some place I will be on some and off some. Good luck to all, take care, I found out, it can happen to you. Kay Griffin Snow Stockton, Missouri
