    2. Many have used this term, for it was passed on from ancestors to future generations irregardless if to our true ancestral identities. It's an option .......What do you feel comfortable with? I tell you I use the term and I have to go into an long explanation (people don't know what the heck I'm talking about) unless they lived in the south..hehehe I use the term, but have learned to say it was a term used for those mixed of color whether it be NA or AA or both with other races to avoid persecutions of the past. People find interest and usually want to learn more or are very intrigued with it. Let's sum this up to being a personal preference for those who come from the ancestrys of those folks who used this term. Just 1 turtle's opinion / view.....hehehe blessings, Turtle/
