    2. BINGHAMTON, NEW YORK DIRECTORIES, 1888-90 Located near the New York-Pennsylvania border, the city of Binghamton is the county seat of Broome County. This database is a transcription of city directories originally published in 1888, 1889, and 1890. In addition to providing the residents' names, it provides their address and occupational information. It includes more than 44,600 names, mostly heads of households.
