    1. [BLACK-DUTCH-AMERICA] RE Work Shop In Ohio
    2. Please welcome back to the Ohio area, this beautiful Earth Walker, Grandmother Sipoknionna Whitefeather. "Walking in Beauty" is a way of living a balanced and harmonious life, in touch with all the components of Earth Mother. Along the way most have forgotten some of the things that heal them best - how we live our lives, our feelings of self-wholeness and belonging to the Earth family. *Grandmother Sipoknionna's home and heart is from New Mexico. While sharing her teachings from her own spiritual journey, she has been blessed with the name "Wisdom Keeper" among many Nations. She comes to us as a teacher of Universal Light from Apache descendent. Grandmother Sipoknionna has shared many teachings with the Lakota Sioux and is a Ceremonial Pipe Carrier. She offers to us these Earth Walker Workshops from her loving and giving heart. Workshop Schedule: Sunday, March 19, 2000 Sunday, April 16, 2000 Sunday, May 21, 2000 Time: 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm Location: The Blue Silk Lodge Yellow Springs Workshop Fee: Love Offering Please bring your drums and rattles. 1. [BLACK-DUTCH-AMERICA] RE Mother Earth
    2. The First Nation's Peoples had a value system. There were only four commandments from the Great Spirits: 1.Respect Mother Earth 2.Respect the Great Spirit 3.Respect our fellow man and woman 4.Respect for individual freedom We must all stand together as a force of love. Be united NOW. There is only one way. Communication. Knowledge. Arm yourself with truth, love and perseverence. Extend your family. Join with others in giving. We are all related. People of the earth take back your heritage. I am not speaking of skin color or religion. Our heritage is this earth... Our heritage is also extended beyond this earth into the heavens where the spirit once lived before our birth into this world. You are bound to both. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ May Your Waters Run Gentle. Little Hawk.

    1. [BLACK-DUTCH-AMERICA] GREAT POST Beej !!!
    2. The following deals with being able to read old papers in our court horses of today that were written a century or so ago. We don't want to make mistakes in following the written word of a time gone by. Beej in AZ An exerpt from the first paragraph of the site. >>>When reading old deeds, wills, court papers, letters, or any other original document it is imperative one be familiar with the handwriting styles of the period. If not, mistakes can be made through misinterpretation and mistranslation. It is also possible that you would not find your relative as you would not recognize the name. A paleographic understanding of the period is also helpful in understanding how the spelling of the surname many have changed. <<<<< From: "Joyce Reece" <[email protected]> Subject: handwriting! For all of you who may be interested in Early American Handwriting! Which should be about all of us since we are constantly trying to dechyper pages of microfilm and other records. http://www.tngennet.org/sullivan/sull-tid.htm#Same

    2. DOWNLOADABLE GENEALOGY FORMS People often ask where they can find free downloadable genealogy forms, such as pedigree charts and family group sheets. You can find these forms at the Ancestors Web site: http://www.pbs.org/kbyu/ancestors/index.html Using forms such as these makes it easier to organize your research.
