They should have never enforced their names upon people they didn't want to carry them on with. Just VENTING.....hehehe...Well everything comes back full-circle. You should start your own list for your surname for instance: SIZEMORE-NA-L or NA-SIZEMORE something for your people & those who carry that name with Indigenous blood to have so all can seek out their lineage ............ think about it and contact the listmaster@rootsweb.com to see about it.

'Siyo, I know the feeling about other lists. I happen be related in two ways to the Sizemores, I was on their list, let me tell you I was obviously of the wrong Sizemore line. I have a picture of my grgrandmother Sizemore, defintely NA. But anyway, when I mentioned about the Cherokee vs the Creek, I was told there is no NA ancestory in SIzemores and did I really want to beleive stories or did I want to know the truth! Now if that wasn't rude! Some people do tend to get touchy when you mention any other than European ancestory. I am sorry, but I want to know the truth, it is what my ancestors would want deep down. It is my heritage to pass on to my children, it is the answer to many questions. There are many reasons that it is important to know the truth. It will set you free right? Tari

It's finally here! Ancestry.com has begun posting electronic images of every record from the U.S. Federal Census between the years 1790 and 1920. The census records, which Ancestry.com recently obtained from the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), contain more than 450 million names. The first images posted are of the 1790 Census, and subsequent postings will bring hundreds of millions of images to the site throughout the year. Through Ancestry.com's Images Online service, census records will more faithfully reproduce original documents than mere indexes or bi-tonal, black-and-white images available with competitive offerings. Ancestry.com records will be easier to read since they will be viewed in a full 256 shades of gray--dramatically increasing the quality and legibility of the image. In addition, Ancestry.com uses MrSID technology in its Images Online(tm) collections. This technology gives Ancestry.com and its customers two important benefits: 1) High-quality computer images at legible resolution take up a lot of disk space. MrSID allows us to compress these documents to a greater degree, allowing the images to be sent more quickly over the Internet to you. 2) Some of our image collections are still very large, even after compression. The MrSID technology allows us to extract and send over the Internet just that portion of an image you want to see, rather than requiring that you download the entire image first. Census schedules represent the most important and sought-after group of genealogical records in the United States. The information supplied for each individual in the census allows researchers to determine family structure, ages, residence, occupation, and much more. Ancestry.com Premium Members will have exclusive free access to the 1790 U.S. Federal Census for a limited time at: http://www.ancestry.com/search/rectype/census/1790/main.htm. ============================================================ PRICING ============================================================ U.S. Federal Census Images is a new subscription feature of Ancestry.com. For the first time, Ancestry.com subscribers can conduct research online by using original primary sources. And for a limited time, free access to census images is available if you are a current subscriber. Following the free access period, pricing will be as follows: Non-Ancestry.com Subscribers: --- 1-year U.S. Federal Census Images Subscription: $59.95 --- Quarterly U.S. Federal Census Images Subscription : $19.95 --- Subscription Bundle: 12-month access to both Ancestry.com (Preferred Plan) and the U.S. Federal Census Records: $99.95 Current Ancestry.com Subscribers: --- Add an Annual Census Images Subscription for only $39.95. --- Add a Quarterly Census Images Subscription for only $19.95. And I know that Turtle and Alece, no this as well. Here goes. When I first came to Black Dutch, I was as dumb as a box of rocks. But I had a determination in me to find answers. To be quit honest, I had a real ruff time. But I kept at it, and never gave up. I am so much the better for it today. I have not only indured the taunts of others, but I have came far enough to try and help others. Why heck I started wars on Black Dutch, and I am still here. The wars were not intentional. But out of the naive and unknowing way, that I presented myself, I was really kind of funny. But to some, I was there worst nightmare.I never gave an inch. If I was thrown off, I was back the next day as somone else. Why I had more faces then the Mary Kay( make-up ) People. Now of couse not having any proper education, made matters even worst. And not being NA at the time, I think a few of my own, wished I would take my dumb self away. When I say my own people, I am referring to my German counterparts, who very much wanted me to just be silent. I was disrupting their views on Black Dutch. And it was nothing against any of them, it was what I thought and felt. Then when I found my Lenape grandmother, I finally understood what was happening. It is like a whole new world opened up to me. I wanted to know everything. I wanted to know about NA and AA. I wanted to talk to anyone I could about Black Dutch. But I soon learned what it meant to be anything connected to NA or AA. I have recieved so many private post, that actually made me sit and cry. I have been called names, I would never use or repeat. Oh yes, the world of the NA and AA, are now my world. I still love my family, and they support my efforts. But never once has an NA or AA ever called me a name, or tried to make me feel shameful in any way.Even with the things I have learned in the last year, I cannot ever imagine what NA or AA have to live on a daily basis. Not so much today, as the yesterdays. So in answer to my question above, I belong right here, with you all.And I wouldn't want to be anywere else. Bright Star
