To Dave Sloan Each child can have two sets of parents. So attach the child to the birth parents (like normal) and then show the adopted parents and click Add Child and type the name or BK code number of the child. That will attach the child to the second set of parents. Then put the child at the top, and from the top menu pick Find, Show Secondary parents to show the adopted parents. Then when they are showing, pick from the top menu Find, Show Parent Type and set them as adoptive.
