    1. [BK] oddity with "back" button when adding a person

    3. I'm looking at person 1466 (my current starting point for all until I've cleared up things relating to him). But I get correspondence about someone else, so I F3 for them. Now I'm looking at person 642. I go to his spouse, person 641. I go to her father, person 301. In the Children tab, I click Add Child (i. e. a sibling to 641). I enter the name, which is one I don't already have, and the gender; now I'm looking at the page for the new person, 1469. I click the back "<" button, expecting to go back to the new person's father, i. e. 301, so I can add the source of the fact of the new person being a child of his. However, it takes me back to person 641. Further back takes me to 642, forward takes me to 1469. In general: when I have a sequence of people in the back/forward history, and I add a new person (via Add child, Add Sibling, or possibly other ways), and then click "<", (a) it always takes me _two_ places back in the sequence, (b) the person who was last in the sequence is removed from it altogether. Usually only a minor annoyance, as in most cases the person lost from the sequence is connected in some way to the person two places back so I can get back to them easily enough (in this case by clicking Father), but I thought I'd mention it as I suspect it isn't how it's _supposed_ to work. I do find the back/forward sequence facility extremely useful; others MMV! Regards, John (P. S.: I'm delighted that JS has avoided the Microsoft obsession with Leading Capital Letters On Every Word - for example, the buttons are Add child and Add sibling, not Add Child and Add Sibling. Just a minor point, but pleasing anyway!) -- J. P. Gilliver.
