Anyways, I only had FTM 5 or 6, and I was unable to import it into my older program; they were incompatible due to some changes in the newer version of FTM. My only option would have been to buy the new version of FTM, which I never ended up doing yet...some day I will just to be able to use the file. In my case, it's easier than trying to get the sender to resend in GEDCOM format...complicated story!
