    3. John, Under options under the file menu select the RTF tab, make sure the Microsoft Word option is selected and text box must be the full path to winword.exe. With later version of Windows this can create problems because Windows uses long paths and BK still only supports the old DOS short path name. More research is required on my part to tell you the short path, but mine is "c:\progra~2\micros~2\office11\winword.exe". Yours might be different. 3. Hello Jim I did what you suggested but I think my problem has something to do with the warning that I am getting when i open BK should have said that every time I open BK I get a message as follows.... ......if you are using Windows 7 you must not have your data files located anywhere below the C:\Programs.Files.Folder I do not understand what this means. I am not familiar with the technical language Regards John -----Original Message----- From: Jim Dell Sent: Tuesday, January 10, 2012 9:09 PM To: bk@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [BK] How to find my RTF program [Microsoft Word 2010] John, Under options under the file menu select the RTF tab, make sure the Microsoft Word option is selected and text box must be the full path to winword.exe.
