    3. Just to let everybody know I am a very happy user of BK since 1992 and continue to look at other programs that my genealogy friends are using and one friend has a data base of 618,058 individuals in it and is being held hostage in an old version of FTM. Well I tried to load it in FTM 2012 and after 72 hours (3 days) it bombed out, so then I opened it in FTM2006 and created a GEDCOM and imported it into a new database on BK6, took a couple of hours to import and opens quickly after the import. On FTM it takes 10 to 15 minutes to open before you can start using it. So BK can handle much larger databases than FTM. Thanks John for all your great public and private support. Jim I might as well get my two cents worth into this thread. I started using BK in 1990, after using a self-programmed dBase2 system for 8 years. What an amazing program, and what wonderful, personalized support over 22 years! Thanks, John, for putting up with my limits-pushing requests and suggestions (we currently have 479,931 individuals in our Family Database). -- Paul J. Lareau
