The first genealogy program I ever used was for the... Commodore 64, swapping 5¼ inch disks for the program, for persons, for marriages, etc. Then, by 1994, I discovered the PC and BK for DOS. What a change. Tried different programs since then, but never really left BK which is the only one used today. Gilles Paquette
I think that goes for many of us, grateful for BK and for John Steed. Betty On 8/23/2012 8:17 PM, Gilles Paquette wrote: > The first genealogy program I ever used was for the... Can't remember exactly when I started with BK but do remember it was a DOS version long ago. Must have been a long time back because my Registration number is 4100 which would indicate its been around for a while. Must say, I have always gotten an answer from John, whether by Email or a phone call, and its always been right on the mark to solve the problem of the day. Many other programs have come and gone but Brothers Keeper still gets improved and even more useful. Thanks John. Dave Bradshaw
