"Famviewer" is loaded with data through a gedcom file. "Ancestry" links to a gedcom file or to an ancestry.com account to load data. 3. This weekend I purchased and downloaded GedView for my phone and iPad. I have been very pleased with the way the application works on both devices. There are a few quirks to it, like no return to where I was button, but overall the interface is very clean and easy to get around in. Thanks to all who contributed to the thread.
