I have imported a folder from BK 5 into BK 6.5.5. This was a database that I used on BK 5 years ago. My problem is that the text files did not import. There are no picture files. How can I get the text files into this BK 6 database? The text files are not in the text folder. One of them is like this: G:\BK5\OLDPEND\text\F15.txt Any help would be appreciated. This folder has over 200,000 people. Betty
To Betty Young Bray The convert from BK 5 to BK 6 will work fine if all of the BK 5 data is on the computer and in the correct places. It works best if you can run the BK 5 program and the pictures and text files are there, then you stop BK 5 and start BK 6 and do the convert. If you can not run BK 5 on that computer, then it is important that you put the data in the correct folders where BK 5 wanted them to be. Then do the convert. For example, is F15.TXT in the folder on this computer where it was on the old computer? Are the pictures in the exact folder where they were on the old computer? If you are not able to put the files where they were when BK 5 was working, then let me know and I will give you a way to work around the problem.
