Rick, I have found this comment feature to be a great asset when used to your advantage. I use Irfan as my prefered image program and I imagine other programs will have a similar feature. In Irfan I load the image and then click on Image, Information and Comment. What is irritating you should now be visible and can be deleted but in its place you can the also insert a comment of your own choice.
