I got a relative buried in two places (or at least two tombstones), one here at the VA and another in his home town. Also, if a family moves, they might want their relative to be moved near to where they have moved. Jim, I have one buried in Canton, CT on my dads side and found a tombstone for him in the basement of the house that my mom grew up in. We know of no reason for the stone to be in the basement of that house. We believe that the stone was replaced for some reason but don't know why. I also found a relative buried in San Antonio, TX. that has a tombstone with his first wife and is buried with his second in a different cemetery and has a stone there too.
