Hi all, I went through the "backup Data Files" process with a new blank CDR in the rewriter drive and this error came up. Drive not available. If you have Windows Vista or Windows 7 then go to start, Computer, and Right Click your CD/DVD drive and if there is an option to Format the blank CD/DVD then pick that. I have not heard that a new CDR can be formatted? The format button is greyed out anyhow. It seems to be a "Brother's Keeper 6" report. I have burnt photo files to a CDR, so the DVD rewriter drive seems ok! System.
