To Rick Beitler When printing a Register Book report, where you can set the default size for pictures to 1.2 or whatever you want. The SIZE column on Edit for pictures is to adjust the default size. Only put a number in size, no words or periods It will add to the default size you pick for the book report. If you pick 1.2 for the Book report, then if you have 8 in the size it will print 2.0 It will add the size to the default size you pick. So if you want exactly 2.0 then what default size are you printing for the book report? Do I need to always make it an X.X size, to distinguish it from just setting 5 in there, which the help file says will trigger an additional .5 inches to the picture? How does it know I want it to be a thumbnail of only 2 inches in height? > Thanks for any input. > > > Rick Beitler > rabone@gmail.com > http://chertyrock.blogspot.com > > Golf is a good walk spoiled. ~Mark Twain > > Remember - Use the Archives at http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/search > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to BK-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
To Rick Beitler Perhaps I should clarify. You can leave Size blank. Then you can print the book report and tell it you want 2.0 for all pictures. So you should not have to use Size at all or very little. (only use it for unusual pictures that are different for some reason and must be a different size) John Steed > From: brothers_keeper@msn.com > To: bk@rootsweb.com > Date: Thu, 19 Jul 2012 03:05:33 +0000 > Subject: Re: [BK] Picture Tab - Size column > > > To Rick Beitler When printing a Register Book report, where you can set the default size for pictures to 1.2 or whatever you want. > The SIZE column on Edit for pictures is to adjust the default size.
