    1. [BK] problems with data and Windows7

    3. I am running Brothers Keeper 6.5 on a new PC that is Windows7 (I had XP before). I have just discovered it is putting most of my data under Program Files. I see the fix for this in the BK help file. It worked fine for my main database which is now safely at C:\BK6\DATA. However, I have about 15 databases - some I have split from my main database, some I am working on for other folks, etc. I now use the same routine to "move" each of those? I tried 2 or 3 and had lots of problems. I am trying to use as for example "C:\BK6\DATA\Charlie" They don't seem to show up when I "open list of databases". They do show up most of the time under File- Utilites - find database. Will I have to manually enter the path for each under the "edit" function" of "open list of databases". I have them all backed up on an external drive but I am hesitant of "playing" too much and losing something. Thanks for any assistance. Maureen Farrell mfarrell@bge.net

    3. To Maureen Farrell If you had 15 databases below C:\program files then you need to move all 15 The File, Open LIST of databases will only show the list that you make. To put the 15 new databases on that list, pick File, Open LIST of databases, and click Edit. Then type in the 15 lines (one for each database) Then pick File, Save John Steed ----- Original Message ----- From: "Maureen Farrell" <mfarrell@bge.net> To: "Brothers Keeper mailing list" <BK-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, July 11, 2012 12:03 PM Subject: [BK] problems with data and Windows7 >I am running Brothers Keeper 6.5 on a new PC that is Windows7 (I had XP > before).
