I know that if you use the 'not married' event, against a couple it will use the word 'partner' instead of 'married' Nowadays 'partner' implies a more permanent relationship.   I want to set  up details of an illegitamate child, when both parents are known,  but where one of the pair was already married to someone else.   Is there any way that a new event {eg called Relationship}  could be created to indicate that a couple had had a relationship which resulted in the child,  and where the link did not show Married or Partner.   Or is there a way of coping with this situation already   Sue  Horsman
