I have just checked my GedView programme on my iPhone into which I had previously imported my BK database by GedCom. The Great Aunt I referred to is shown with a full birth date of 26 May 1872 and a death date of Q1 1955, exactly as in my BK database. >From my experience therefore GedCom DOES accurately export an "illegal" date. Maybe it is exported as a string of text and not as a date. All the best. Er could like to have that to be trafered to 1 jan to 31 mar on the other hand we do also have periods as Winter, spring, summer etc and neither of them are legal. When I say legal it is according to transferring by gedcom.
