HELP! I have converted to Windows 7 on a new machine from XP on an older machine. I have backed up my BK files in XP on my old machine which were located at C:\BK6\(DATA). I am trying to restore them to BK in Win 7 from a CD in D drive. When I attempt to do so the dialog box states “This routine will copy files from your backup disk to C:\Program Files\Brother’s Keeper 6” It also shows on the “Restore” button the correct location and file name for the restore to take place. However, my understanding is that the data files should not be under C:\Program Files. I would like to restore the files to C:\BK6\(DATA). How do I do that? Bill C.
When restoring, BK allows you to "Pick another drive" type in CBK6\DATA\ - then restore will put it there..
