I believe someone else had this problem recently but I could not find it. I have a problem opening Word documents in BK version 6.5.6, Word works fine with all files outside BK. Option setting for editor are "c:\progra~2\micros~1\office11\winword.exe" (Office 2003, sp3) BK works fine with other file types, rtf. pdf. jpeg. etc. Stafford MacSwain

To Stafford MacSwain Can you give me some more information. Are you on the Notes tab on Edit or are you on the Media tab on Edit when you try to open the file? Are you trying to open a .DOC file or .DOCX file? If you are on the Media tab, and if BK can open RTF files from there but not .DOC or .DOCX files then go to the place in Windows where you can tell Windows which program to use to open each file type, and see what program is set to open RTF files and which program is set to open .DOC or .DOCX files.
