    3. Attach the information (or a reference to it) as a note for each of the 3 or 4 possibilities.  Cross-reference the notes to each other, and set them to "Do not print."  When you return to those individuals in the future, you may have acquired the additional clue you needed to solve the mystery, and all of the other information will be right there. I don't want to lose the information but would like advise on what to do with it. [] By "cross-reference", do you mean just mention in each that the others exist, or do you know a way in BK of actually linking them? I've often found this to be a problem: I make a note under person 123 "see notes under 567", but unless I do the reverse, I have no way of making sure that should I fix one of the questions, the other note gets fixed too. I suppose linking both to an external text file ... no, that still doesn't solve the problem of ensuring all notes are updated. So if there is any way of actually linking, I'd be interested! -- J. P. 3. How about artificial fake parents and making each of them a child? For example you could name them "Mother of John Smith" & "Father of John Smith" Then as details evolve on each one, either combine them or unlink them and at then link them to their proper parents.
