The samples you show are all invalid because they do not show a full date. The idea of showing invalid date was to indicate that the information was not complete. Regarding the issue of only having the quarter, I use the option of showing a date range. So for a 1st quarter event I would put 01011877 to 31031877 in the date range box showing between these dates. I realise that this may not cover those events that have occurred at the end of the previous quarter but were not registered till this quarter but I am able to tell by looking at this entry that that is the quarter of registration.
