    3. Hi, the regular updates show that improvements are still possible. Better is the enemy of good!! Why must someone not be able to suggest an extra consistancy check? I am sure that a part of the fixes and new functions that come with every update are a product of the input John Steeds gets from the users. Someone said that Jill was a bit too harsh with her comment. I disagree. She echoed my thoughts exactly. I also have been a BK user since the DOS days, with even more names and photos, and I'm a very satisfied customer. I've sampled many other programs over the years, but none compares to BK for its reliability and ease of use. Through all the platform and version upgrades, I've never lost a single molecule of data. And the support is unparalleled. Several months ago someone else complained that BK was falling behind the others due to its lack of bells and whistles and failure to adopt the latest programming capabilities. I disagree with that also. What BK lacks in fanciness and glitz, it makes up for by being a straightforward, reliable user-friendly database. And that should be everyones top priority. The periodic BK updates have consistently provided improvements while retaining the program's underlying simplicity and integrity. I'm always afraid, when there's a long per! iod between updates, that JS is about to unveil a new and improved BK that will rob it of the characteristics that we all appreciate... or should. John, Leave Brothers Keeper alone, it works perfectly well, always best to be sure you haven't got the same person mentioned half a dozen times (in reality, so many names are duplicated). ( I am _not_ my own granddad ) ? are you sure about that, as it sounds like you are confused. If you don't like it, BK as it is, well choose another program. I have been using Brothers Keeper since 1986, have over 53,000 names and some 4,000 photos recorded, and it all works wonderfully. 3. Hello BK users everywhere, I wholeheartedly agree with the point Reinhard makes. Progress is made because of unsatisfied, questioning men. The mild man makes the best of whatever situation he is in and muddles through without complaint. The questioning man lifts up his head and says "what if". Regards. Why? Because many proposal we have had to the list, start a discussion of it is necessary or what ever. Some does not like the proposal and some do. John decide if they are possible or not with the present database structure and program parts that is now used. :) -- Otto Jørgensen http://www.bkwin.info/ All email is checked by NORTON
