    3. When making the gecom chose "selected people" then chose "ancestors of a person" and click on your own name. This will give both your parents' ancestors. There's also a choice for "Ancestors of a person plus family of each ancestor". you can also "split database" the same way - so whatever you're using it for will determine your choice.     3. Thanks Fran. I tried this method, but I also want to have my uncles' and aunts' families included (cousins and their families, etc.). That's why I thought that "going down" two branches instead of "going up" would give me more information. In fact, my database contains more than my own ancestry, and I want to extract only my own with all related persons.
