Question on using BK generated reports in a text editor. I have been reading for some time about the option of creating a BK report as a txt file, then manipulating it using a text editor. I tried this on a search report I did on finding everyone in my database I have listed as being buried in a certain cemetery. When I opened this txt file, the spacing was now all wrong, as it had been done by hard spaces inside BK. To use this data, it would take a lot of time to remove the spaces and replace with tabs. Opening it inside a spreadsheet application was even worse, as it read each row entry as a single cell entry! Suggestions on how to proceed from those of you who have in the past worked with BK generated reports inside a text editor. Thanks.
