    1. [BK] Second set of parents
    2. Hello, I have a cousin that was adopted. I have entered both set of parents. When I go to her record it shows spouse 1 with a drop down so that I can choose her other spouse. For her mother and father it also shows a 1 but there is no drop down. How do I access her second set of parents? Thanks, Dave

    3. To Dave DESloan@aol.com If you just want to View the second parents, then from the top menu pick Find, Show Secondary Parents. If you want to switch which is primary or secondary, then pick Edit, Rearrange parents. 1. [BK] Type of parents
    2. Bert Maier
    3. Hello John, I just encountered a small glitch in BK6: I had an adopted child connected to its foster parents and marked both parents as "adopted" (Menu Find - Show parent type). No second set of parents. Then I disconnected the child from its parents and deleted all specific information for the child, in order to reuse the entry. However, even though the entry now did not have parents anymore, the parents-button was still italic and I was unable to remove the "adopted" information. I had to connect the individual to some temporary parents, then I was able to put the "type of parent" back to natural, then I could disconnect the child again.   It seems that the type of parents sticks with the individual even if it was disconnected from the parents.   Thanks for your program and good service to us.   Bert from Germany

    3. To Bert Maier OK, thank you for the information. I will check it out and I should be able to fix the problem in the program.
