The "Files accompanying a gedcom file." thread reminded me of something I thought I'd share: If you have a file structure like this ...censuses\1871\johnsmit.jpg ...censuses\1861\johnsmit.jpg , i. e. for any reason (the above is I hope obvious) two or more different files with the same name (in different folders/directories, of course): the BK "back up picture files as well" function will only save one of them, unless JS has fixed this and I haven't spotted it. This is because the backup-pictures function backs up all to the same folder, rather than maintaining the folder structure (which could well be impossible, I can see that). Just thought I'd share: if I'd known, I'd have done things differently, but I have too many files as above - and links to them in BK - from before I discovered this. -- J. P. Gilliver.
