I get a crash when trying rearrange birth order with a family of 39 children. This is not a real family but a collection of same surname people that I'm tying to link and have an invented father to collect them. They have a combination of full birth dates, partial birth dates and blanks. When I select to rearrange order, sort by birth date, BK shuts down with a message that it has encountered a problem and needs to close with an option to send error report to Microsoft. I have another family with 22 children that sorts properly. Instructions seem to permit 75 children. Is this s a BK bug or a XP problem? Using BK v 6.5.8 and XP Pro. Joe W
To Joe joe968@comcast.net It might be a bug that only happens with a certain combination of dates. If possible, send me a private email with the exact dates of the children. The easiest way is if you do a Group Sheet report for the father, and from the Group Sheet setup page pick File, Create TXT file and send me the TXT file with the names and dates of the children. Then I can enter a sample database with those dates and try to sort them and I should be able to fix the problem.
