    1. [BK] adding child with same name as parent or ancestor (and similar)
    2. J. P. Gilliver (John)
    3. I've mentioned this before, but wonder if any further thought has been given to it: When I add a child with the same name as the parent or an ancestor of the parent, it would be nice if BK would remove the parent and ancestor(s) from the "do you mean one of these persons" list that pops up; thinking about it, it could also eliminate anyone with birthdate (say) previous to that of the parent. (Or at least show any such in different colours, but I know colours are difficult/impossible with the current engine.) Similarly, if adding a parent of the same name, and probably other similar situations. Finally, it ignores other forenames: if I'm adding John Paul Getty, it will say "Do you mean this person: John Frank Getty?". I can see it might need to suggest John Getty or Paul Getty, i. e. where the person is already in the database but with some of the names omitted, but when the names are _different_ ... Minor points. Suggested for addition to the huge list of "it would be nice if". But eliminating the person having a child/parent, at least, maybe wouldn't be that difficult. -- J. P. Gilliver.
