I recently wanted to show a new "relative" how she connected to an existing one; "Compute relationship" showed none, so I used "Relationship Box Chart". This told me "There is an existing file for", well, me as it happened, but that I'd have to make a new one for one of the two people I was now wanting to see the relationship between. That's fair enough, and I did, and it worked. Now I want to show her how she relates to me, so I put me back as the first person, and click Display Chart. I get a popup saying "The existing relationship file is for: ...", and that I'll have to make a new one for me. But I already had made one. Cannot they be saved, or at least the _option_ to save the current one be offered when a new one is generated? In my case it won't take long, as I only have 5xxx people, but I can imagine that for some people it would take a Very Long Time. (I know [or at least I imagine] they'd be big, but disc space is cheap nowadays.) Also, when I click OK on the "The existing file is for ... you'll have to make a new one" box, It displays the previous chart. Not a problem, just unexpected; I thought it would take me back to where I could click a button to make the new RF. -- J. P. Gilliver.
